John Paul Getty's Rules of Success

The 8 rules of success the millionaires have in mind

By Vic Carara
www.empowersU.com

The late J. Paul Getty's rules for accumulating wealth are simple and to the point. In fact, it is so simple that most people who read them either dismiss them as sweeping generalities or falsely believe they have known and used them most of their lives... but these people are probably not rich. So while these guidelines may lack romance or an obvious direction, be assured that they are the genuine article. Apply them as soon and as often as you can, and apply them with intelligence and creativity.

Rule No. 1: To acquire wealth today, you must be in your own business.

You may think that the corporate executive with a $100,000 salary is better off than small shop owner, but the executive will be hard-pressed to double his income and taxes will eat up most of any increase. The simplest peanut vendor has unlimited opportunity to expand his business and his income, and even salesmen, who in most cases are able to write their own paychecks, can control his sale increases himself.

Rule No. 2. You must have a working knowledge of the business when you start and continue to increase your knowledge of it as you go along.

If you don't know what you're doing when you start, your mistakes will be costly and often unnecessary, and you won't be able to keep up with the technological explosions in any field. Start smart and stay that way.

Rule No. 3. You must save money in your personal life and in your business venture as well.

Discipline is the key to saving money. You must develop the will power to deny yourself immediate gratification or the temptation to gamble on the quick buck. Resources will be needed for expansion and should be guarded carefully.

Rule No. 4. You must take risks, both with your own money or with borrowed money.

Risk-taking is essential to business growth. Nelson Bunker Hunt is admired for his guts in trying to corner the silver market, not scorned for losing money on this deal. Some of the richest men have staked their entire fortunes and lost, several times over, before the risk-taking paid off. Back those risks with good judgment, experience, commitment, and the right support. Seek advice on risks from the wealthy who still take risks, not friends who dare nothing more than a football bet.

Rule No. 5. You must not only learn to live with tension, you must seek it out.

Thrive on stress! If it means getting physically fit, having a psychiatric overall or losing 50 pounds before you can handle it, do it. Once you can learn to thrive on stress, you will not only enjoy it, you will seek it out willingly and enthusiastically and wonder how you could live any other way. Men of means look at making money as a game which they love to play. Consider it serious business and you will suffer far more stress than you need or want. Keep your perspective or your stress level will rocket beyond your control.

Rule No. 6. Build wealth as a by-product of your business success.

If wealth is your only object in business, you will probably fail. Wealth is only a benefit of the game. If you win, the money will be there. If you lose, and you will from time to time if you play long and hard enough, it must have been fun or it was not worth it.

Rule No. 7. Patience.

This is the greatest business asset. Wait for the right time to make your moves. Let your business grow naturally, not by pressing your luck.

Rules No. 8. Diversify at the top.

Once you've made it, you'll understand that any business is limited in the challenges it offers. You'll want and need other games to play, so you'll look for other ventures to hold your interest.

Now go for it!

Law of Attraction – Be Like A Great Actor To Be Successful

"Unlock the Secret of Law of Attraction By Following Three 'Obvious' Steps"

by Aldian Prakoso

What if I see something that causes me heartache or if I dont want to think about
some bizarre experience?

If it is something you don't want, don't think about it, it's just that simple. For what you resist persist. The Law of Attraction cannot tell if you do not want the experience, especially since you keep thinking about it and wondering and predicting what you will do about it. Sensing that you want to keep creating more doubt, fear, anxiety, etc. because your energy is so focused on those types of experiences, the law says here's more. The more you concentrate on the unwanted object or experiences, the more energy you give it to grow. If it is something you truly desire, think about it to the point you can smell it, feel it and taste it and then "act as if you already have it in your life.

The next time you get into your old car, "act as if it's that new luxurious one you desire. Every time you get behind the wheel only believe, smell, and think of it as that new one. Start play-acting and pretend. Imagine you have the job, car, etc. and actually sense/visualize how you feel; insert yourself into the vision. Why? Because the universe does not distinguish between what is make believe and what is real. When you are pretending to the point that you actually believe you are in possession of the object of desire, then the universe matches it if you have mentally aligned with it and have physically made room for it.

How is this accomplished? Well, the universe doesn't have a mechanism to detect when you are pretending, so your consistent desirous thoughts about what you would love to experience is responded to as the real deal.

Go to the car dealership and sit in that luxurious new car. Go to the jeweler and try on that diamond ring, and sit in on a corporate meeting and get that feeling of entitlement in your soul. Start pretending, act as if now. Use this exercise daily. Start small then build to a bigger desire, you will need to feel confident and comfortable when you are acting as if. Remember, the subconscious mind doesn't distinguish between the real world and a virtual one. Acting as if will cost you nothing and there is not a great deal of energy expended. You simply incorporate the process into your normal daily routine.

Why pretend?

Pretending is like having access to a virtual reality game without being hooked up to any electronic equipment. Believing it's a game; the suspicious, cautious conscious mind will not reject, analyze or judge any of these thoughts against your current belief system because it views this exercise as play.

Just be like Angelina Jolie, Al Pacino, Tom Cruise or other great actors. They act it out and pretend that they're someone else according to their movie characters. You just need to act it our in your daily life.

Do not be deterred if others think you are acting weird, for it is through understanding and practicing the principles of the law that you will receive everything you believe and desire. Yes, it is the Law of Attraction and one of itsreal secrets is "if you believe it, you can achieve it." Only then can you have, be or do anything in your life if you desire it. Believing and having faith is the foundation for any desire to manifest.

12 Commandments To Attracting Greater Wealth!

By David Bach

One of the defining characteristics of a Smart Woman is that she is paid what she is worth. So why is it then that so many Smart Women (and even Smart Men) regularly accept earning less then they should? Did you earn what you deserve in 1999? Were you fully recognized for the value you bring to the work place? Well, if the answer to the above is “no”, that’s okay because a new millennium awaits us. Having taught thousands of women the following 12 Commandments To Attracting Greater Wealth I know that if you take action and utilize these simple yet powerful concepts you can attract greater wealth in you life in 2000 and beyond! As we begin this incredibly exciting year my hope for you is that in 2000 you are a Smart Women that both lives and finishes rich!

COMMANDMENT 1
WHATEVER YOU EARN RIGHT NOW IS EXACTLY WHAT YOU ACCEPTED.

People constantly complain about how much money they make-or, rather, how much they don't make. I call them the gripers. They say things like "My boss doesn't appreciate me," or "I haven't gotten a raise in over a year," or "All my hard work and effort goes unnoticed," or "If only I worked for XYZ Company, I'd make twice what I'm a making now," or-and this is the classic line-"I'm in a dead-end career going nowhere." For the next 30 days I want you to say to yourself whenever you hear one of these people going on about how lousy his or her situation is: "If their work is so unappreciated, they should get off their collective butts and change their destiny."

COMMANDMENT 2
SOCIETY REWARDS PEOPLE WHO ADD VALUE.

The single greatest way to increase your income is to add value. I learned this important lesson from motivational speaker Zig Zigler. Zig says that in order for you to get out of life what you want, you have to help other people get out of life what they want. Even if you never did anything else of note, this one action would boost your standing with your boss or client. (By the way, this works with significant others and children too.)

COMMANDMENT 3
DISCOVER WHAT MAKES YOU UNIQUELY VALUABLE.

We are all blessed with special talents that make us unique. Some people discover their talent at a young age and from then on focus their lives on honing it until they are rewarded by society.
The question you need to ask yourself (or ask others who know you) is what makes you uniquely valuable. What is it that you have to offer? Chances are there is something that you love doing. Most likely it's something you're good at. The point is, if you focus on this thing you love doing, you can become uniquely valuable enough at it that you can be paid significantly to do it.

COMMANDMENT 4
DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME ON THINGS OTHER PEOPLE SHOULD BE DOING FOR YOU.

Time is our most precious asset. Yet most people waste it doing stuff that someone else can do. Figure out what you make an hour and then never do something that you can pay someone else less to do. A Smart Woman focuses on what she does that makes her uniquely valuable. Everything else, she delegates.

COMMANDMENT 5
CLEAN UP THE MESSES IN YOUR LIFE.

Whether it’s at home or at work most people are slowed down by the messes that clutter their space. Consider cleaning your office first! According to time-management expert Jeffrey Mayer, author of Time Management for Dummies, most people spend about an hour a day looking for papers that are lost on the top of their desks-60 percent of which aren't needed anyway! Now, think about this for a second. If the average person is really spending an hour a day looking for stuff, that's about 22 hours a month, or 264 hours a year, down the drain. That's a whole month of working time.

The messes in your life don't stop at the office. You should clean up your home as well.

COMMANDMENT 6
ASK YOURSELF…WHERE DO YOU WANT TO BE FINANCIALLY IN THREE YEARS?

One of the greatest things you can do is to get really clear on your direction. To assist my clients and help them do this I always ask them the following question…If we were getting together three years from today, what would you want to see happen in your life to feel you had made great financial progress?

Some people call this goal setting. I call it life planning. Why write it down? Well as motivational expert Anthony Robbins taught me, if your life is worth living its worth recording! What could be more worth recording then the direction you want your life as a woman to head in the 21 Century.

COMMANDMENT 7
INVEST IN YOURSELF.

For some reason, once most people leave school (and it does not matter whether we're talking about high school, college, or graduate school), they stop valuing the process of learning. I think this is a big mistake. The common denominator among really successful people is that they consistently seek new skills and better tools. Less than 5 percent of Americans read books like this one. They can propel you to a higher quality of life and happiness.

COMMANDMENT 8
LEARN TO BE A "GO-GIVER."

John Templeton, the billionaire investor and renowned philanthropist, once said that the key to life is not to be a go-getter but a "go-giver." This one statement changed my life. It is so easy to get caught up in whatever it is we are trying to accomplish, which often leads us to believe that we should be a go-getter. But a go-getter focuses on getting. A go-giver focuses on giving.

I'm not just talking about giving financially to charity but also about giving time to the people who need it. This can even start at home with your children or at the office with a new employee. Seek to be the person who is there with a helping hand.

COMMANDMENT 9
MAKE A DECISION.

Your financial future can be shaped the moment you make a financial decision. Remember the basic philosophy of Smart Women Finish Rich: When it comes to your future, you can be either proactive or reactive. Most people never make up their minds about the things that are important to them. So ask yourself: What’s one big decision have I been avoiding? I suggest that you stop avoiding it and act on it in 2000.

COMMANDMENT 10
FOCUS ON BEING A "GO-TO GAL."

In sports, certain athletes are known as "go-to guys." These are the players who can be counted on to deliver in a pinch. The idea is that when the game is on the line, others give the ball to the guy who can make the play-the go-to guy.

These days more and more women are making names for themselves in both sports and business. That's what a Smart Woman wants to do. She wants to become known as the type of woman who rises above the competition, who can make it happen. She wants to be a "go-to gal."

COMMANDMENT 11
TO MAKE MORE MONEY, YOU HAVE TO ASK FOR MORE MONEY.

In sales, they say the key to success is learning that you have to ask for the order. But salespeople aren't the only ones who need to learn that lesson. Everything in life that's important requires you to "ask for the order." From getting promoted to getting your children to pick up their clothes, you're not going to get what you really want if you don't ask for it. Yes, if you do all the other commandments I've listed, you're bound to be rewarded in some way or another-but if you are going to be able to charge your customer more or get that raise you want and deserve, ultimately you're going to have to ask for it.

COMMANDMENT 12
LIVE BY THE PHILOSOPHY OF MIHN!

MIHN stands for Make It Happen Now! In life I believe there are really four types of people. Those who watch things happen, those who wonder what happened, those who complain about what happened, and those who MAKE THINGS HAPPEN NOW! As you go about your life, ask yourself regularly which person are you being. Life is not a dress rehearsal. You get in life exactly what you go for. I say the heck with being a spectator and jump in.

TAKE THE TIME TO SMELL THE ROSES
2000 is going to be an incredibly exciting year. There will basically be two types of people in 1999; those that focus on what they didn’t get in the 20th Century and those that focus on who they will become and what they will enjoy in the 21 st Century. While I believe that achieving financial security and attracting greater wealth in your life is a goal worth striving for I want to end this article with something I myself often neglect. In our efforts to build a secure future and protect our financial destiny, we should never forget that the greatest asset we have is life. Unfortunately, life is of limited duration and is not guaranteed. There is no insurance we can buy that will give us back our life or make it possible for us to bring back those we love.

My point is that you shouldn't get so consumed with your financial journey that you don't spend enough time-sharing moments with the people you love. As you take control over your finances and your career, please remember to let those you really care about know how much they mean to you.

Live Your Life with No Regrets!
The choice is yours. Take the tools in this article and start now to begin your personal journey to the new woman you want to be in three years-more financially secure than you are now, more successful in your career, happier, even healthier.

Potentialize Your Opportunities

By Mark Victor Hansen

I remember watching the movie “Dead Poet’s Society” when it was first released in the theatres. Robin Williams’s character is a professor who wants his students to think for themselves, so he makes them stand on top of their desks to view things in a different way. That really stuck with me.

When you think about it, people hardly ever look at the world through their own eyes. They get their information filtered through the eyes of others, whether they’re the eyes of the media, politicians, friends or family. But what looks like one thing to someone may look totally different to someone else. To really see what’s going on in the world, to see what opportunities exist for us, we have to see the world through our own eyes in our own way.

We all need to recognize and potentialize opportunities when we see them. What do I mean by potentialize? When something has potential it has power, it expresses possibility, it is influential and effective.

As we go through each day we should be on the lookout for any situation that expresses possibility. Any situation. To attain the success you desire you have to recognize possibility everywhere and then stretch and flex your mind to create million-dollar ideas. And you’re not limited to just one. The more you practice seeing the possible in daily life, the better you will become. Then you take those small possibilities and potentialize them and create great monetary abundance.

We all have the ability to potentialize opportunities and create phenomenal wealth. And the amazing thing is that there are multiple possibilities for potentalizing in every situation! Just because someone comes up with a new way to do something doesn’t mean that there isn’t yet another way to do it. We have each been blessed with individual characteristics and abilities that no one else has. We each have our own special way of doing things. And that means we each have the ability to potentialize in our own unique way.

"Be grateful for your problems, for they stimulate an ‘I-can-solve-it’ new attitude."

I want you to begin to recognize potential in every situation. This may seem a bit challenging at first, but once you get into it, it becomes fun and easy.

For the next week I’d like for you to keep a journal. Every day write down 10 ideas you could potentialize into new, prosperous opportunities. Anything and everything you see or hear, write it down, including your ideas for potentializing the situation.

For example:

Let’s say you’re on your way to work and you stop for coffee. While you’re waiting for your latte you overhear a conversation between two businesspeople. One is saying how they need a new website for their business. This is the opportunity.

Your suggestion for potentializing the situation could be that you approach the two people and tell them about your colleague, who happens to design websites and who you know to be professional and trustworthy. You get the businessperson’s name and telephone number and approach your colleague with the information. You suggest that for every account you bring to them, you receive a flat finder’s fee. They agree, because it’s easy potential business for them, which means more money for them.

You see, even an overheard coffeehouse conversation can lead to an opportunity for profit.

A New Way to Easily Achieve Your Goals

I've learned at least two things about achieving goals: There is an easy way and a hard way.

The hard way is to work night and day, stay obsessed, rarely sleep, and never give up.

Since everyone talks about the hard way, I want to address the easy way. After all, why struggle if you don't have to?

I've used the easy way to create bestselling books, lose 70 pounds in 8 months, find my ideal mate, get healthy, increase my wealth, and much more.

Obviously, it works.

Here's the formula in brief:

1. Be grateful for what you already have.

2. Playfully declare what you would like to have with positive emotion, feeling as if it is already achieved.

3. Act on the nudges and opportunities that appear.

That's it. In my latest book, "The Attractor Factor," I explain a 5-step formula for getting what you want. It's useful for those times when you don't feel grateful, or can't decide on what you want, or don't understand the concept of letting go while taking inspired action. It's also helpful when you have issues about money, or deserving, or feel in any way blocked from your goals.

But the bottom-line for me is this: Declare what you would like with no attachment and plenty of good feeling, feel grateful for what you already have, and act on what appears. The result will be the manifestation of a happy life.

Let's explore this in depth.

1. Feel grateful now.

It doesn't mater where you live or what you have.

If you're reading this, you're most likely living like a king or queen compared to people in third world countries. You may even be living better than kings or queens from history, as they often lived in cold, violent, frightful times. You've got it made.

2. Choose what you want without attachment, feeling as if it is already achieved.

There's magic in saying "Id love to---(fill in the blank) but I won't die if I don't have it." Since the world is simply energy taking form, when you declare you want something, you begin to attract it. But when you say you need something, the need pushes it away. You want to select your desire, and feel the joy of already having it, without feeling any desperation. Need will push it away; Desire will attract it. If you feel as if you *already* have it, then you *will* have it.

3. Act on your opportunities and intuitions.

You may get offers, calls, or who knows what. Act on them. You never know what will lead you to your goal. Your ego cannot see the big picture. Intuition and opportunities will come to you from the larger view, and your job is to act on them. As you do, you will be taken to your goal, even when it appears you are being blocked away. Trust is key.

Is that really all there is to it?

Again, the fuller procedure in "The Attractor Factor" will take care of any snags in the process, but the basic process is simple. Let's walk through it:

1. Look around your room. What are you grateful for? Make a list. Get into the authentic feeling of true gratitude. In other words, be happy now. You don't need a reason to be happy. But if you want one, find something, anything, to be grateful for right now. When you're grateful, you're in a mental place that will attract more to be grateful for.

2. Look around the playground of your mind. What would you like to have, do, or be? What would be fun? Write it down. As you do, feel what it would be like to already have it now. Pretend you won the lotto. What would you want for yourself or others? What would be fun? The key is playful non-attachment while experiencing its completion *now.*

3. Now pay attention. As you go about your life, listen to your hunches and act on them, and pay attention to the opportunities and act on them. You never know what will take you in the direction of your goal. Your job is to take inspired action. You may have some work to do in this step, but the work will be from your heart, and will take you in the direction of getting your goal.

Why not go through the steps right now?

Write them down, experience them, and then check back in a few weeks and see how they are doing. You may surprise yourself by how easily and quickly your goals are achieved.

If you find yourself doubting the process, thinking negative, or in any way not enjoying the simplicity of the easy way to attain your goals, then consider learning the 5 step process in "The Attractor Factor."

Above all, have fun. Keep smiling. Be playful. Stay grateful. These are all elements of the new secret to manifesting your goals.

Remember the words of a famous song that also perfectly summaries this new way to achieve your goals: "Don't worry. Be happy.

How to Build Your Own Empire in 5 Easy Steps

Long before the movie "Gladiator" hit the theatres, millions of people have been fascinated with ancient Rome . More than 15 centuries after its fall, the Roman Empire continues to profoundly influence world history. But few have ever explored how Rome marketed itself to greatness. It wasn't all blood and guts, gladiators and chariots, togas and swords. There was a strategy and a mission, too.

After all, how could an ancient class of poor farmers rule most of Europe ? Why would people leave their farms and their families to travel into unknown territories and fight barbaric wars? They were basically self-sufficent. They didn't even have a need for money until the third century. What's the deal here?

Roman Marketing was the key. In short, it was a powerhouse strategy practiced by the greatest emperors to instill hypnotic confidence in soldiers, allegiance from the public, and victory over almost all enemies.

And you can use it today to build your own empire.

Here's how Roman Marketing worked:

1. Create a mythology.

Rome did not have an inspiring past. Since it lacked the rich mythological sources of the ancient Greek, Rome filled in the holes by making up their own culture. They created their own legend. They told stories of Rome being founded by the survivors of Troy . Another story said Rome was founded by Romulus and Remus. These stories awakened a sense of the heroic in people. It gave them pride and confidence. It helped soldiers agree to fight for a country that was "the glory of Rome ." Battle wounds became symbols of pride. It's no accident that Rome 's principle god was Mars---the god of war. With that kind of deity on your side, why *not* go into battle?

2. Share your wealth.

In the early days of Rome , citizens had no choice but to serve in the army. And they might serve up to 20 years. Why would they agree? Because Roman leaders made it worth their while. Soldiers were given land and later, when it was useful to have, money. Whenever an enemy was defeated, the goods were divided among the soldiers as well as the leaders. A happy soldier was a loyal soldier. Generosity was a trait adored in Rome . In later years, when greedy Roman leaders were more reluctant to share their wealth with their troops, soldiers were more reluctant to fight---and Rome fell.

3. Rouse the public.

Ancient Rome knew the value of songs, parades, monuments, paintings and displays in creating loyalty among the public. Many Roman leaders wrote books which conveyed their views as well as gained them popularity. Roman writers used drama and poetry to spread the fame of Rome . These public shows were designed to entertain the public as well as convince them of the greatness of Rome . They worked so well that the public eagerly awaited celebrations. Some of these events lasted for days. One lasted 123 days.

4. Discipline yourself and your employees.

Roman soldiers worked hard, fought hard, and knew the value of discipline. Self-control was worshiped. But discipline didn't always mean punishment. It meant following a lifestyle proven to get results. That method included hard training as well as daily relaxation. Soldiers relaxed before battle. Evenings were a time of quiet. Even business dealings were not discussed over dinner. Leaders saw that followers were given time to renew themselves. A rested warrior was a strong warrior. Soldiers were trained to follow proven rules designed to do one thing: Win at all costs.

5. Lead by example.

Julius Caesar remains one of history's greatest commanders. He led by personal example. He would address his troops as "fellow-soldiers." He knew the names of every one of his soldiers. He often led battles from the front lines. He let his own confidence filter through the ranks. He also befriended the masses. He gave food to the poor. He provided banquets and receptions, complete with entertainment. He had his face stamped on Roman coins as a reminder of his leadership. He even brought the first hippopotamus from Africa , all for the purpose of winning loyalty so people would follow him wherever he wanted to take them.

How can you make Roman Marketing work for you today? Let's see...

1. Create stories about your business.

When you talk about people you have served who love your product or service, you create a sense of loyalty among your employees and a sense of desire in prospects. You create a culture. A mythology. Stories sell.

2. Share your profits.

Share your profits with your employees, with your community, or with other worthy causes. When you share your wealth, you open your mind psychologically to receive more, and you create good will among the people you touch. All of this is good publicity for your business and you. Sharing sells.

3. Awaken the public's support for your business.

Let the public know when you do good deeds, help people, share wealth, invent something or do something that helps your local area or the world in general. Support the world and it will support you. Publicity sells.

4. Discipline yourself and your employees.

Be at work on time, create and implement a plan that brings you new business, focus on a goal and work till you achieve it, and be sure to also relax and spend time with family and friends. Create a set of principles that work and follow them. Discipline sells.

5. Lead your people.

Let customers and employees see your own enthusiasm for what you do. They will model your behavior. Act with passion and be congruent and you'll win their hearts and minds. People want to be led. Leadership sells.

Compared to the atrocious warring times of ancient Rome , today we live in paradise. But here's the best news of all: When you apply the secrets of Roman Marketing to your own business, you'll find that you won't have to do something nearly every ancient Roman had to do: Fight to win.

Create a Million Dollar Stream of Income With Your Mind Now!

by Reed Byron, Master Hypnotist.
This article is copyrighted (c) Hypno-success.com.

Have you ever felt that you’ve been cheated?

Perhaps you purchased something and it didn’t live up to your expectations? Maybe you bought something and it broke within a few days or found out later that what you purchased wasn’t what you really wanted . . .

For most of us, this has happened at least once in our life. My point in bringing this up is to point out to you how you are now focusing in your mind about that event. You remember it don’t you. You remember specific details of what happened . . . and you are probably in a bad mood because of it, aren’t you?

Well, I want to point out to you . . . right now . . . that you can STOP those thoughts NOW, by concentrating on something else. Go ahead and think about what you would buy right now when you have a million dollars in cold, hard cash. That’s right, you might be thinking of a new CAR, BOAT, MANSION, TOY, HELPING OTHERS, being financially free and perhaps you are even thinking of a VACATION or trip to HAWAII or other trips you would take. One person once told me that he was thinking about the words he would say to his boss when he quit his job.

Now, as you are thinking about having your own MILLIONS DOLLARS, what would you do? How would you fee when you have a MILLIONS DOLLARS now?

Now STOP thinking about that and LISTEN to LEARN how you can not just “think” about it, but actually create it in your life INSTANTLY!

You don’t think it’s possible? Think again!

If you’ve been going through the exercises I’ve just guided you through, you might not have noticed that when I asked you about being cheated, you got a little upset. When you remembered that experience in your mind, you literally create the same physical sensations that you experienced in the past during that event. Your mind accessed the same thoughts, feelings and sounds that you had at that time in your life. You might have felt upset or slightly angry when you remembered it.

Then, if you thought about having your own million dollars . . . what happened? If you actually could imagine it in your mind, you really did think about what you would do with it, you probably even could see yourself living a “different life” than what you are living right now. Did you do it? Did you experience it? I did. If you didn’t, start from the beginning and do read it again - and this time, try to see it in your mind and honestly think about what you would do with your own million dollars.

The fact is, that our minds are more powerful that we know. As humans, we can literally take something from our past and relive it over and over and over again. You might know someone who does this.

Think about it. Have you ever heard someone say almost the same thing when something goes wrong? Maybe they say “I had a bad childhood,” or “I’m no good at X,” or some other negative statement that they have placed upon themselves.

Without going into scientific details, you can learn to master your mind and use it’s creative/ remembering ability to bring into your life whatever you want. Specifically, you can change your mind so you create, not only abundance in every form, but you can actually create a Million Dollar Income Stream into your life . . . now.

How? By using the same tools that others use to bring themselves down into despair and create poverty, you can use those tools in new ways that bring you up into happiness and prosperity and create a Million Dollar Income Stream now.

Just like you thought about what you would do with the millions of dollars, if you will DO the following exercises EVERY DAY - you will create Million Dollar Income Streams in your life. It WILL happen instantly, effortlessly, and completely naturally as you trust in the power of your mind to create what you want.

Remember, what I am about to share with you are the EXACT STEPS to ensure your success. These are SECRETS. They have been hidden from the general population for a reason. Now that they are going to be revealed to you, please honor them and take them seriously.

Now LISTEN. This is very important. Even though I know thousands (if not millions) of people will eventually read this material, only a select few will actually implement it.

Why? Because even though the Million Dollar Income Stream will flow into your life effortlessly and naturally, it does require some EFFORT on your part - only initially.

After you set up the system (in your mind), it will be completely natural and effortless. So, I invite you to be one of the FEW who will USE this priceless information. Do what needs to be done initially and then, reap the rewards for the rest of your life. Now, these are the EXACT steps to create a Permanent Million Dollar Income Stream in your life NOW . . .

Step one: You must first eliminate all doubt from your being. Eliminate all hate, eliminate all sorrow, eliminate all excuses. In short, you must BELIEVE that this will work for you, because it will. So, step one - have faith that as you do this, it will work.

Believe that it will work for you and it will.

Step two: You must take only 15 minutes a day to be by yourself (alone) to perform the MILLIONAIRE EXERCISE. I don’t care if you have to go into your closet or bathroom and lock the door - but you must do it. Don’t question it, just do it.

Step three: You must close your eyes and repeat the following verbatim (word for word) - preferably out-loud for the entire 15 minutes. “Every minute of every day, millions of dollars flow to me now . . . instantly, effortlessly, naturally now.”

Step four: You must repeat that statement over and over and over again in a rhythmic manner for at least 15 minutes of every day for a two month period.

Step five: After the two month period of doing that everyday, you must set a goal of exactly what amount of money you want to have. For example, if you want $1,468,920.00 you must start using this amount in your statements. So, you would say “One million, four hundred sixty-eight thousand, nine hundred twenty dollars flows to me now, instantly, effortlessly, naturally now.” Do this for the next 3 months.

Step six: During these next 3 months, after you are done repeating the phrase, you must think about either having that exact amount of money in your bank account (visualize yourself looking at your bank statement with that exact amount of money on your statement). Then, feel good about your accomplishment.

Step seven: Circumstances and situations will start arising in your life that will allow this exact amount to manifest itself into your life. Simply be positive (remember you cannot doubt, for if you do - you will not obtain the money) and allow the universe to work its magic in your life.

Step eight: Repeat steps one through seven. By doing so, you will acquire Million Dollar Income Streams in your life. You now have the exact steps. Remember to use them.

Thank you for allowing me to share these secret steps with you. I wish you complete success as you create your own Million Dollar Income Streams . . . now.

“I’m Thinking...But I’m Not Growing Rich!”

by Bob Doyle

So you’ve read “Think and Grow Rich”, and you’ve got an intellectual understanding that you “become what you think about”. You have a list of affirmations about wealth, and you recite them every day.

But you still have no money. Wealth doesn’t seem to be anywhere around.
What’s the deal here? According to Napoleon Hill, you ought to be filthy stinkin’ rich, right?

Well, here’s the real deal: If you’re not “Wealth Conscious”, than all this thinking, and all this affirming isn’t going to bring you wealth. Thinking, and affirming are simply actions you’re taking. But they are just PART of the sequence of creating wealth. If you skip the FIRST step, you simply can’t get anywhere.

So what’s the first step?

Being.

To attract wealth, you first have to BE wealthy. THEN, you think wealthy thoughts, speak wealthy affirmations, and take wealthy action.

“But how can I BE wealthy if I’m NOT wealthy?” you ask. Logical question, but it’s based on the false assumption that you don’t have wealth. You HAVE wealth. You’re simply not aware of it. You have constructed a physical reality that prevents you from experiencing Wealth. This can all be explained with the science of Quantum Physics.

So let’s look at some very basic concepts of Quantum Physics that will explain what I’m talking about.

First, you probably are aware - at least on an intellectual level - that at a subatomic level, we, and everything else in the Universe, is Energy. When you break everything down, we’re all made of the same stuff, and we’re all connected. The Universe is just this huge ocean of Energy, vibrating at various frequencies which gives the illusion of individuation. That is, we experience the illusion of separateness from each other, physical objects, and wealth because our “senses” are decoding the Energy around us in such a way as to create our physical reality.

This all happens in our thoughts.

So, to simplify things quickly here for the sake of time (another illusion), “things” only exist because we observe them. It is in our observing that things come into existence.

Without our observing, things are simply “waves” - probabilities of existence. Physicists agree on this.

Our beliefs are a very powerful Energy system in our lives. Our beliefs allow or disallow certain experiences in our lives, including wealth. They make up who we are. We “BE” in the world according to our beliefs. If we are being is “someone who is trying to get wealthy by repeating affirmations”, then THAT is what our reality will be. We will just be TRYING to get wealthy.

We have to make the decision that we ARE wealthy, contrary to any external physical evidence. That evidence is an illusion based on the belief systems that have guided who we have been being up to that point.

A truly wealthy person isn’t wealthy because they have money. They have money, because they are wealthy! That’s the distinction that most people have backward!

Here’s an example to illustrate what I mean:

Tony Robbins became a millionaire at a very young age. Then, due to a series of poor judgments, he lost it. But within a year, he had it back. How did he do this? HE NEVER LOST HIS WEALTH. He only lost his money, which is just a symbol of wealth! Because he is “Wealth Conscious”, he literally “magnetically attracts” wealth into his life. He truly can’t help it! It’s who he is! And there are thousand out there like him, who attract wealth simply because it’s who they are. You can make the same decision and have the same results.

MONEY MAKING SECRETS OF MIND POWER MASTERS

Conversely, a person who has grown up with “lack consciousness” can win millions in the lottery and lose it within a year. Their consciousness - their ENERGY - simply can’t maintain the attraction to Wealth because they aren’t “wealthy” in who they are being.

But again, Wealth is a decision. If you aren’t currently experiencing wealth, you first need to realize that abundance is everywhere...in fact it’s all there is. Poverty and lack are the illusions. You can shift your consciousness to Wealth - BE Wealth - by simply making the decision, THEN your thoughts, speech, and action will allow you to experience the wealth that is yours!

This is indeed a complex subject which challenges our core belief systems. But it is those very belief systems that keep a person in a state of lack.

Look at your financial situation today. Look at your core beliefs about Wealth and You, and see if your life isn’t a PERFECT reflection of your beliefs. Then, look where those beliefs may have originated. When you can awaken to yourself that your beliefs create your reality, rather than the other way around, you have the option to truly be free to experience a reality of prosperity that you deserve!

Success Programming

Article by Randy Gage
ProsperityWeekend.net

I was behind a one-armed man at the sub shop. He was complaining about the fact that the lady cut the tip off of the bread she was making his sandwich on.

The attendant explained that they cut the bread exactly, so regular subs are six inches long, and large are 12. He kept whining about the ¼ inch tip she had cut off. She explained that he would receive the same standard portion of meat and other fillings. He wasn't impressed.

In fact when the sandwich came out, he insisted that he wouldn't pay for it unless they found the tip she had cut off, toasted it, and put it in the bag. Standing behind him, with my blood sugar dropping, and my blood pressure rising, it was all I could do to refrain from smacking him upside the head. Of course he left without leaving a tip. I watched him get behind the wheel of a taxi parked in front and begin his dining experience.

So what kind of success programming do you think he had?

I bet he's proud of himself for cadging that extra bite of toast. In fact, I'm sure he sat in that taxi, congratulating himself for his assertiveness and savvy consumerism.

What do you think about his priorities, and where he expends his energy?

Is he focused on abundance or lack?

It's a similar kind of situation with you. I think the programming you've had is what determines your approach to just about everything in life. But instead of being programmed for success-most people are programmed to avoid failure.

Now perhaps you think I make too much of our cab driver's thriftiness. I think not. Your programming controls how you react to hundreds of situations, each and every day. And the way you react reveals what your programming really is.

Another example . . .

How do you think about money?

When you think about money, is it about how much of it you lack, or how much you can manifest? And why you want to manifest it.

Most poor people spend all their time thinking about money. Or more specifically, their lack of it. When I was younger and broke, that is what I did. I was fixated on money all the time. I thought about all the things I didn't have and couldn't get. And I was very jealous of the people who had them.

Know where that led to?

Jealousy soon turned to hate. Soon I hated all rich people because they had what I wanted.

Nice homes. Exotic cars. Expensive clothes. They could go to a restaurant and order what they really wanted. And not worry about who would pick up the check.

That's when the real problems started . . .

Because I hated rich people. But I was working hard every day trying to become one. So that set the stage for a whole bunch of internal conflict that I had no idea was going on.

So I would surge forward to success-only to sabotage myself every time I got close. I snatched defeat from the jaws of victory more times than I can count.

I thought I was programmed for success, but that wasn't true. I was programmed for poverty, but acting for success.

The symptoms are always there, if you know what to look for . . .

Ever see someone who experiences more anguish at losing $10, than the joy he gets from earning $100?

Someone orders his dinner at a restaurant and the waitress asks, "Would you like a salad with that?"

The correct answer is "yes" or "no" but never, "Is it included in the price?

Ever see someone who drives around a parking lot for five minutes-to save a one-minute walk to the store?

All of these scenarios have the same plot line: They are fear-based, not abundance-based. Decisions are made not on what the possible benefits are - but in order to avoid a possible negative outcome.

Now the question for a lot of people is, "How do I really know what kind of programming I have?"

They want to know if they really have success programming, or just success surface actions. The answer is in the questions above.

If you make decisions-particularly money and career ones-based on the moving away from fear model- you've got poverty programming.

If you make decisions on a positive, move toward good model, then you have true success programming.

So what do you do if you test poverty programming?

Well you're already doing it. Of particular importance is regulating the influence you're getting from the TV shows and movies you watch, books you read, etc.

And the other area is the people who are closest to you. Your "Sacred Circle" of the five people you are the closest to. It's crucial to your success that you have some positive people in the five to support you.

One of the biggest factors in your prosperity is the people that you associate with. Of particular note is your Sacred Circle. These are the five people that you are the closest to.

I believe that the people you allow to make up this group are so instrumental to your prosperity consciousness, that they truly become sacred to your prosperity path. They color your goals, expectations, and what you believe is capable and possible for you.

Be honest with yourself, would you describe what you now have as a Sacred Circle, or a "Rancid Ring?" Who are the five people in the group closest to you now?

Can you think of two or three new people that you currently know, that you can actively work at developing a deeper relationship, and bring into your circle?

Give this some real thought and if you want to test your Prosperity IQ go to http://www.prosperityweekend.net and click on the link to take the short quiz to see if you need to break out of self-limiting beliefs that are sabotaging your success.

Bruce Barton's "Spare Time" Speech

A rare speech from one of my heros, the subject
of my book, The Seven Lost Secrets of Success

Last month a man in Chicago refused a million dollars for an invention he had evolved in his spare time.

You are interested in this because it confronts you with the possibilities of your spare time. Did you ever stop to think that most of the world's great men have achieved their true life work, not in the course of their needful occupations, but- in their spare time?

A tired-out rail-splitter crouched over his tattered books by candlelight or by fire-glow, at the day's end: preparing for his future, instead of snoring or skylarking like his co-laborers. Lincoln cut out his pat to later immortality--in his spare time.

An underpaid and overworked telegraph clerk stole hours from sleep or from play, at night, trying to crystallize in to realities certain fantastic dreams in which he had faith. Today the whole world is benefiting by what Edison did--in his spare time.

A down-at-the-heel instructor in an obscure college varied the drudgery he hated by spending his evenings and holidays in tinkering with a queer device of his, at which his fell teachers laughed. But he invented the telephone--in his spare time.

Gentlemen, you, too, have spare time. The man who says: "I would do such and such of a great thing, if only I had time!" would do nothing if he had all the time on the calendar. There is always time--spare time--at the disposal of every human who has the energy to use it. Use it!

How to Get Results Without Struggle?

by Dr. Robert Anthony
BeyondPositivethinking.com

One of the misconceptions most people operate under is you get what you want in life by what you DO, or through the actions you take. Most people believe the DOING or action part is what makes things happen. Actually, "doing" causes you to create in reverse.

Let me explain.

The reason we put a lot of emphasis on action is because we do not understand the power of our thought. If you analyze it, 90% of most people's actions are spent trying to compensate for inappropriate thought.

The Chinese philosopher Lao-tsu said, "In the practice of the Way, every day something is dropped. Less and less do you need to force things until finally you arrive at *non action.* When nothing is done, nothing is left undone." What he is talking about is *doing without doing.*

The problem is most of us are preoccupied with "doing". Unfortunately most of our doing usually involves struggle. In the western world we are conditioned to be action-oriented, so we place a tremendous value on doing. We are so busy doing we do not realize that all this "doingness" causes us to create in a reverse fashion.

Most of our actions are out of fear, worry or doubt because we believe nothing will get done unless we DO something. In other words, we are trying to force our desire into manifestation through action.

If your decision to DO is dominant, then you will not focus on what you want to BE in the present moment. This causes you to miscreate because BEING is the first and most important step in the creative process.

Here is the secret to getting results with ease:

It is not your action that makes things happen, it is your intent. You can reduce the need for action to a very minimum by allowing yourself to focus on what you desire until you feel the positive energy begin to move within you. This energy is not based on doubt, fear, anxiety, worry or need. If you focus on what you want instead of what you don't want, you will know when it is time to take action. And when you do, it will be effortless. Doors open and the entire universe will conspire to assist you in your desire.

Put simply, you should take no action on anything until you have visualized your desire and made it real enough in your mind that your next action (step), whatever it is, seems like the most logical step.

How can you know the next logical step? Here is the test that you can give to yourself before taking any action: If you focus on what you desire and still feel overwhelmed or anxious, then you are not ready for any action. You know you are ready when it feels like the next logical step is effortless. There is no effort, no strain, and no pain.

What we want to do is to use the leverage of energy, the same leverage of energy that creates everything in the universe. However, we are so caught up in the reality of WHAT IS, that we feel we must create everything through physical activity.

Have you ever seen people who seem to have all the wonderful things in their life without much effort? It almost seems like they have an advantage over everyone else. Then you see the people who work the hardest usually have the least. That doesn't seem fair, does it? But that's the way the universe works.

Unfortunately, those who work the hardest usually have the least because they haven't learned the leverage of aligning their energy. They are going about creating their lives the hard way. They are trying to use their actions to create what they want.

We have also been programmed that in order to have what we desire we must work hard. How many times have you heard - "No pain, no gain." The implication is that if you want to make something of yourself, you must work hard. The message is clear - if you are not hurting or struggling, you are not moving forward.

But here is the truth - anytime you are struggling you are miscreating. Anytime you feel pain or struggle, your magnetic point of attraction is directed to that which you do not want, rather than to that which you desire. (Read that again.)

Actions are necessary, but they are the last component of the creation processes. Actions cannot be used effectively to initiate results, because initiation is the function of BEING, then thought, then action.

Remember, the creation of anything is through your vibration. Everything vibrates, and it is by that vibration that we harmonize and attract experiences to ourselves. So before you act or do anything, first ask yourself, how am I vibrating? How do you tell? You tell by how you FEEL. Your feelings show you your vibration. How you feel determines what you attract.

When you use the process of creating by only focusing on what you want instead of what you don't want, you will see that the universe will provide a different set of circumstances for you that requires much less action. This puts you in a state of "doing without doing" or action without effort.

So if you want more results in your life -- and with far less effort, struggle and pain -- try this "not doing" way to success.

The Top 10 Destructive Money Beliefs and How to Overcome Them

Article by Dan Klatt
InnerWealthMastery.com

If you're not making as much money as you'd like, then you're holding onto some negative beliefs about yourself and how much money you're capable of handling.

In this article we'll go through 10 of the most common (and most limiting) examples of how people hold themselves back financially.

Subscribers to my ezine, "The Abundant Mind," get a Money Beliefs Quiz. From their results I've compiled these Top 10 Destructive Money Beliefs. How many can you relate to?

10. "Money is not spiritual."

Here's the belief that you're somehow more spiritual or more likely to have a better afterlife if you sacrifice greatly this time around. Or that you'll suffer after you die if you pursue the things you want, which you need money to buy. This belief is most often an effect of people's religious upbringing. Remember, you're here to live life fully right now. (Also see belief No. 1.)

9. "I'll get to it tomorrow."

When you put things off, you step out of the natural flow which includes Abundance coming into your life. It's almost always based on your fear that you'll fail anyway, and that will disappoint you. So you delay what you feel is inevitable. Once you start living in the moment, though, you let go of the grip the past held on you. You realize you're a new person now. You've learned and grown a lot since the last time things didn't go as planned. (And that only happened because you still had not learned something you needed then to succeed, which you probably know now.)

8. "I'll probably just fail anyway."

We've probably all heard the wisdom of Wayne Gretzky: "You always miss the shot you don't take." When people don't take action because they're afraid they'll fail, well, guess what, by not even trying they already have failed. You have already succeeded just by moving forward. You may not achieve your objectives right away, yet you will still have learned some valuable lessons. And that makes it more likely you'll succeed next time.

7. "But we can't afford that."

This kind of thinking comes from scarcity and lack, not Abundance. It also gets people to focus on what they don't have (which empowers them "not-having"). They feel like the things they do have are not enough. Instead, when you appreciate everything you do have, you come from Abundance and start bringing the things you want closer to you. You also realize there is no limit to what you can become, accomplish or have.

6. "Rich people are greedy and dishonest."

The first person to spread this untruth must have been a poor person. The fact is that most people who become wealthy are at least somewhat aware of the spiritual principles that allowed them to prosper. A key part of that is to stay in the flow, which means giving back. Rich people are among the most generous, too, and they started their habit of giving long before they started having a lot of money. Coincidence? Not a chance.

5. "If I'm successful, my friends will be jealous and stop liking me."

Remember that we live in an abundant universe. There IS enough for everyone. People who envy what others have are coming from scarcity and actually are a harmful influence on your Abundant Mind. It's actually critical to your experience of prosperity to only allow positive, supportive and inspiring messages into your brain. (And that especially includes your own thoughts!)

4. "I'm no better than my parents, so I shouldn't make
more than they did."

The world was much different when your parents were where you're at. Tools like the Internet have made it possible for everyone to make a lot of money doing what they love. Besides, your parents may have struggled precisely to give you a better life than they had. They loved you and would want it no other way.

3. "I might forget what's truly important and not like
the person I've become."

People who are greedy still come from scarcity and lack. (And if they made lots of money, they will not enjoy it and are more likely to lose it.) Instead, you'll come from Abundance, and you know that encompasses far more than material wealth. In fact, it requires a balance between great health, meaningful relationships, ample time for relaxation and playing, and truly enjoying your financial abundance. You will have an abundance of happiness when you come from an Abundant Mind.

2. "Money is the root of all evil."

This is the most common error we learn from our parents and religious institutions, and it keeps millions in poverty and a slave to money. That, by the way, is the only way we may judge money as "evil" - when it controls us. And that only happens when we feel we need it, because we're coming from scarcity and lack. When you come from Abundance, money becomes a tool to enjoy the finer things in life and to give you everything you need to fulfill your life purpose. That's why we're here, right?

1. "I'm not worthy."

Did you realize that fully 90 percent of the population has an issue with low self-esteem? It's the No. 1 thing that holds people back and prevents them from living their dreams. When people feel they don't deserve wealth or abundance in any area, they don't take the opportunities they're given and instead do nothing and complain about people who have become abundant. They also make up lots of excuses to justify how life has done them wrong. Instead, please realize that The Abundant Mind is what separates the richest person from the crowd, and you can choose right now to come from Abundance and take your place among the wealthy. You ARE worthy.

Candid Conversation Between Internet Millionaires

Article by Willie Crawford
InternetMarketingHowToWorkshop.com

I sat around in a hotel room chatting with two other *very* well-known internet marketers recently. We brainstormed and shared observations until three in the morning :-) I thought you might enjoy the simple yet profound insights and wisdom shared by these two multi-millionaires. Look for ways you can directly apply this knowledge to your business activities.

The most profound observation that we all made was that most on-line newbies set their goals too low. This is often because of limitations in what they can convince themselves is possible. You see, until you have seen something done, you often view many things as impossible. After you see many people doing them, your concept of what is possible shifts radically.

Consider the person barely able to make their monthly rent payment. To them earning $50,000 a year may seem like a big dream. However, the person making $50,000 sets his goal on $100,000 although it may appear to be a big challenge to him. It magically seems more possible if that individual know anyone actually earning $100,000 a year. The person earning $100,000 a year, can see the possibilities of earning $200,000 a year, and the one earning this amount can imagine half a million.

As I sat in that room, chatting with someone who had made and lost many more millions than I could imagine, my personal perspective shifted dramatically. Just being exposed to someone who told me/showed me how it could be done convinced me that it was possible. It convinced me that I could do it... and I set out making it a reality :-)

At other times during this weekend I engaged in other brainstorming sessions on how to build mailing lists in excess of one million, how to get millions of visitors to your site, and how to market high-end products. Nobody in the group doubted that these things could be done since we knew people who had done them. So our focus became how do *we* accomplish this.

The amazing thing about those discussion with those two internet marketing millionaires was how it continues to make me notice people doing "the impossible." For example, I now notice websites that get millions of visitors a month. I also notice websites that get millions of visitors a day. And as I observe these amazing feats, I ask how can I duplicate what they are doing. I ask, how can I teach people I mentor to do the same thing.

What I grew to realize was that the challenge I face is just getting you to acknowledge that it is possible. I frequently talk to subscribers who are busily trying to market a $20 ebook for 50% commission. I have to emphatically remind them that this will never make them independently wealthy. The only reason you should be selling $20 ebooks is to get names on your list and to qualify them for up-sells to more lucrative products that they need.

It takes being at a seminar or conference and watching someone purchase a $5000 product or $10,000 in consulting services before many of those I mentor experience the shift in thinking I try desperately to effect. You see, this shift in thinking is necessary if you really want to become an internet success story.

That shift in thinking does a number of things for you. At the same time that you learn the secret to driving millions to a website, you realize that you may not really want a million visitors a month. As you learn to create a mailing list of several hundred thousand, you may realize that what you really want is a smaller but very targeted list. As your thinking shifts (and the light comes on) you discover that you are *actually* adopting the essential mindset.

What's the purpose of sharing with you a few moment of candid conversations with some internet marketing millionaires. It's actually to make you want to begin associating with the same types of people. When you associate with and brainstorm with people who think this big, you magically become one of them. Then you sit back, look at them, and realize they really are no different than you. The biggest difference is frame of reference and what they believe to be possible. Find a way for you to have candid conversations with a few millionaires today and watch what happens.

The Top 7 Signs of Self-Sabotaging Behaviors (and what to do about them)

Article by Terri Levine
CoachingInstruction.com

Having trouble reaching all your goals? Going for what you want but feeling like something is road-blocking the way? Finding yourself *not* doing some of the things you know you should be doing?

You may be a victim of sabotage---self-sabotage. How do you know, and what can you do about it? Read on and see.

1. Focusing on what is not working or not right.

Problem: Finding that you think a lot and speak a lot about what is going wrong can make you feel dissatisfied and can quiet your sense of purpose and ambition. Notice how often you speak about things that aren't working.

Action: Ask yourself a new question: "What's going right?" or "What IS working?" Begin to notice all the things, no matter how small, that are working well. Keep an evidence journal and each day write down everything, I do mean everything, that is working. Change your way of thinking!

2. Being stuck in fear.

Problem: Do you worry a lot about the future and what is going to happen or might happen? Are you thinking about your fears so much that you are paralyzed and take no action because of fear of what might occur?

Action: It is time to put your focus on the present. We can't control or predict the future or other people's behaviors. All we can control is our own, right here, right now. Ask yourself the question "What is the worst thing that could happen?" Then, let go and know that it isn't in your hands to control the future and that rarely do the scenarios we create in our heads occur. Use the wonderful Serenity Prayer and actually write down the things you can not change, the things you want courage to change, and accept that the Universe, God, Spirit, whatever you call it, is the ultimate guide and you are not able to control the future. Relax, breathe and trust that the Universe will take care of you - it always does.

3. Feeling you have no value.

Problem: Do you forget all your accomplishments and lack pride in who you are and what you have accomplished? If you stew and obsess about the past or your lack of success or lack of goal achievement, then you'll be stuck in noticing how much you lack as a person. If you often criticize yourself or can't accept compliments, you aren't allowing yourself to love yourself.

Action: You can choose to notice what you do that is good and that you can be proud of, no matter how small it may seem. Each day keep a log of what you are grateful for about YOU. When you hear your "inner coach" or inner voice telling you what you haven't done right or well, turn down the volume on it and turn on the volume to hear the voice that knows the TRUTH about who you are and how you add value to the world. Acknowledge yourself for at least 5 things each and every day that you did well. Each day, compliment yourself on something you did that you feel good about. Notice your small successes and let compliments others give you flow into your bones.

4. Comparison of self to others.

Problem: Do you constantly compare yourself to others and then feel badly when compared to them? Comparison doesn't motivate us to do more or be better, instead it makes us feel we'll never be good enough and we aren't right now.

Action: Write out the 5 qualities you like best about yourself. Then write out what you value most in your life. When you go to a place of comparison, notice how similar you are with the other person vs. what is different. Begin to create a list of adjectives that describe you - at least 25 positive words about your greatness. Whenever you notice yourself in a comparison mode, think of some of the adjectives that describe YOU.

5. Meeting goals and then losing them.

Problem: Do you not believe that you deserve to accomplish goals and that you are entitled to what you want? What is the story underneath - maybe that you aren't good enough to have it?

Action: List all the things you have accomplished that then faded away. Simply notice these things with love and pride and don't focus on the fact they disappeared. How did they bring you satisfaction? How did they make you feel? What is the limiting belief that you have that tells you inside why you can't have what you want? Be quiet, be still and listen to it. Write down how you felt when you had accomplished the goal. Write down how you feel now, without the goal. Then write a "bridge belief": A very, very small belief that feels a little bit better than what you now feel. Each week, create a new bridge, that you can really believe. By using these bridges as stepping-stones, you'll shift your limiting beliefs slowly and be on the other side of the bridge and able to maintain it because you will have a new belief inside of you.

6. You chase away relationships.

Problem: Do you always feel something is missing in your relationships or find fault with the other person? Perhaps you are afraid of intimacy. Underneath this is usually a fear of abandonment or exposure that causes you to distance yourself from others.

Action: Create a list of the qualities you value in a relationship and the qualities you want to attract in your partners. Cultivate connections you have with people. Express what you want and don't want to the other person and allow them to express the same to you. Create time to acknowledge the other person on a regular basis. How To Pick the Right Coach For You

Article by Terri Levine
CoachingInstruction.com

Are you feeling called to hire a coach to create your extraordinary life?

As you will discover there are lots of "coaches" out there. But some folks who use the term "coach" don't have enough training, or follow the ethics and professional standards of the International Coach Federation.

Before you begin investigating coaches, begin thinking about why you want to hire a coach, and some of your short-term and long-term goals. That way you'll be able to locate a coach who resonates with your personality and your aspirations.

Meanwhile, here are three guidelines to help you make a wise choice.

1. The key criteria I would use in hiring a coach consists first of finding out what their training as a coach has been.

Have they attended or are they currently attending a coach training program? Is the school or program a reputable one that includes classes, exams, and a certification program? Did the coach get feedback and supervision about their coaching from more advanced coaches and trainers?

You'll want to know that the coach has learned the actual skills and competencies that are standard in coaching by attending a coach training program. Whenever I go to a professional for services, I certainly expect that they be trained to provide the service, so this is a most important starting place.

2. Next, I would be curious about their background.

If I want to start a successful business, I'd want a coach who is a role model of that. If I want to have more balance in my life, I'd want evidence my coach lives this way. A coach is someone who is ahead of you right now that will assist you to move forward with them and their experience in business and life is highly valuable.

Are they walking their talk? As you are clear on your goals, you'll want to find a coach who has quickly and effortlessly achieved such vision and can coach you to achieve your goals and way beyond.

3. The final criteria is understanding the personality and chemistry that feels right for you.

Some coaches are pushovers and will let you slide and get away with not moving forward fast. They match what some people are looking for.

Other coaches are on the opposite end of the spectrum and are what we call "edgy" and they push hard and expect you to run rapidly. That personality may fit for you and inspire you.

Yet others are a blend - they can be supportive and loving - yet give you a kick-start if and when you are sluggish.

Think about what style you may enjoy most. If you'd get angry with an edgy coach, then one wouldn't match for you. If you felt the softer approach wasn't going to get you going fast enough, then pass that coach by. It is for you to get clear on the style that fits.

Finally I recommend that you speak only with coaches who are members of the International Coach Federation. Most of them are profiled online at www.coachfederation.org. You then know you are going to be selecting from coaches who are associated with the professional organization of coaches worldwide.

As you look through the coach referral pages on that website, you'll discover information about the coach's training, background, experience and style. Find 3-5 that you are attracted to based on those criteria and have a conversation with them to share your goals, get a feel for their style of coaching, and try them on. When you feel you have made a connection and you are feeling energized to speak with them again, then you'll know you've found a your match!

Affiliate Your Way to The Top

Article by Doug West

So what if you don't have your own ebook or digital product to offer your customers? Is it really possible to earn a good living offering other people's products and services? What are the best ways to develop an online income with affiliate programs? We will look at and answer these questions in this article.

NO PRODUCT OF YOUR OWN?

Don't worry, there are hundreds, perhaps thousands of www entrepreneurs that are earning decent incomes without a product of their own. Associating with ready made offers and web sites can be very profitable IF done right. Here are some points to keep in mind:

Start Building Your Own List

If you are going to work any type of sales program on the net, sooner or later you are going to have to advertise in some fashion to get the word out without SPAMMING anyone (SPAM will only cause you problems). Ezines ads are one of the best deals available. Especially Solo ads and Sponsor ads. Compare the cost of advertising in these publications to what PostmasterDirect and some of the other online Giants charge for mailing to their BIG lists of prospects and you will find that Ezines offer some real Bargains. We have always found that the ezine ads pulled better anyway. We have spent several thousand$ to run a solo ad with PostmasterDirect, and only had a few replies, where one Solo ad with a good ezine list has netted us hundreds of leads for an average cost of about $100. To find ideas for your own solo mailing offers see:

http://www.ezinesoload.com/

Wherever you decide to advertise, you need to start building your own list of contacts. We are not saying that everyone should become a publisher of an ezine, but Every online marketer needs to have their own list of folks who have responded to their offers, and a list of those who have done business with you. This list will be the lifeblood of your ebiz! Perhaps the best way to build that list is by use of a follow up responder system that will build the list for you. There are many such services available. You should utilize a service that offers the auto personalized feature. This allows you to put the name of your prospect in all the follow up offers you send them. One of, if not The most impressive tools we have used is:

http://netofficetoolbox.com/app/default.asp?pr=26&id=20840

They will even pay you a 30% commission for referring others! Their system not only offers unlimited auto follow up responders, but they have a shopping cart, ad tracking system, list manager and more. If you do run an online publication you will really need to check them out!

If you build a list from ALL your advertising efforts, even those who don't initially buy from you will become valuable to you. As your list grows you will have a free resource for advertising your other offers, which brings us to the next topic:

YOUR OFFERS SHOULD BE RELATED

This should go without saying, but we see many folks online violating this simple rule. If you are dealing with health related offers, your gardening or home repair offers might not be as readily accepted. In fact, you may get some folks who will get down right upset with you. You may give them an option for getting on another list with you about another subject, but generally you should not pitch them something that is totally unrelated. There are exceptions to this and every rule of course, but note the word generally in the above statement.

Theme Mini Sites

This is one area that can work in promoting your affiliate programs, but you must come up with a theme that is needed and unique would not hurt either. Eva Almeida of Canada came up with a Great Mini Site idea to capitalize on the eBook craze. Her site focuses on ebook compilers. She reviews the various software programs out there for creating ebooks, and offers her comments on them. Of course, she belongs to the affiliate programs for those compilers that she recommends. She also has links to her other sites as well as related affiliate offers. Visit her site at:

http://www.ebookcompilers.com/

You have to use caution on this however. If you try to set up a web site that just has links to a lot of affiliate programs, chances are, it is not going to do you much good. BUT, if you can offer some sort of free service where you have really done your homework like Eva has done, you may come up with a real profit center!

Start Slow & Build Fast!

The main mistakes that we see so many folks making is that they try to do everything at once, or they do nothing at all. Those are the main reasons for failure. If you do nothing, well, you can see the problem with that. If you try to start out working several plans or programs, you won't get anywhere with any of them because your resources will run out. You won't have the staying power you need as you will be spreading your advertising dollars too thin.

You should pick a program that you really like (we prefer two tiered or multi-tiered programs where you can receive commissions on other affiliates that you refer to the program), and has excellent income potential. Focus on that until it is paying you regular sizable income. Then add other programs as you go. Once you know how to get the word out, and you have a system in place, it is a fairly easy matter to just keep doing the same thing over and over again with different programs. Soon you will have many companies sending you cash, and you won't have to work so hard. Do a lot for very little in the beginning, then do a little and earn a LOT in the end!

Yes, if you stay focused, build a list, measure your advertising success in real dollars, and follow up on your new net friends, you really can earn a nice living without having one product of your own!

The Two Most Powerful Practical Spiritual Principles I've Learned from Millionaires, that Will Totally Change Your Life!

Article by Coach Don

I've had the honor and opportunity to spend some time with some very financially and spiritually enlightened people(my opinion on the latter quality, but obvious on the first one!), and have walked away richly touched and moved to alter how I "do business" in both my personal and my business life as a result.

In listening to these wonderful people talk, and observing how they handle their realities, two very distinct and powerful traits came to my attention that I believe, if applied to your life, will make such a change that in a short time all your dreams could be well on their way to fulfillment. I don't say that lightly, I really have been hit by these two Spiritual Principles and their power. I believe, no I know, you will be too, if you allow your Self to really take them to heart and soul.

Principle Number 1: Get On With It!

Simple, but so right on. "Get On With It!" spells it out exactly as I felt it when I watched these Spiritual Millionaires in their actions. They didn't hesitate to move on ideas, connections with others, saying what they think in conversations, giving their opinions, and responding to situations that called for action in order to keep momentum going.

Do you get the power of what this Principle is about? I did, when I finally opened up to seeing what was happening right in front of me. "Get On With It!" Don't hesitate, take action. Contemplation is fine, for figuring out what to do. And, if you're sitting waiting for something to happen, doing other "important" tasks rather than those that you know (C'mon, you know, of course you do!) will produce the results you desire, then "Get On With It!" is a habit that you desperately need to cultivate in order to get to where you want to be! Waiting will not do it!

Trust me on this one, I've waited for Gudeau forever, and he never showed up!

It's time to "Get On With It!", trust your intuition, your sense of knowing what the next step is, and take action. We often wait for the "feeling to be right" first, before we take the action we know will bring us satisfaction. That's backwards! The feelings of satisfaction, self-esteem, belonging, personal actualization and contribution only come from ACCOMPLISHMENT, not from pondering and procrastinating. (You knew that one, too, didn't you?!)

I watched these Spiritual Millionaires, one after another, take immediate action, in integrity, and I saw tremendous results come into their lives. I then put this into practice for my Self, and immediately, I mean IMMEDIATELY, I got results! I recently sent out a free offer via email to participants from a seminar on spirituality and business I attended, two days after returning from the seminar. Within five minutes I got a phone call from a participant living in Europe, who'd returned home, got my email, and immediately called me for the offer! Five minutes, from halfway around the world! I hadn't had time to shut my email off and walk downstairs!

So, "Get On With It!" Now. Today. You'll be glad you cultivated this skill. I promise.

Principle Number Two: Act As If....

"Act As If..." is about trusting that you know what is right for you, you're capable of handling it when it comes to you, and you're putting out the intention for what you truly desire. I've seen the power of being absolutely clear on my intentions for my life: They come true! They have for me, and I watched the Spiritual Millionaires as their intentions came to reality for them as well.

And, being clear on my intentions is a good first step. A more powerful and life changing step is to "Act As If..." those intentions are ALREADY here, now. Not dishonestly, or outside of your integrity. But, to feel it, sense it, imagine how you're going to "show up" in various situations of your life once your dreams do come to reality. And then, "Act As If..." your intentions are reality, now. Why wait to have fun, to hold your Self tall, to laugh and live lightly?

"Act As If..." is about being willing to play in the sandbox with the other kids, and not hold back! It's about taking your shot in the basketball game, not being afraid others will not like you. It's about loving your friends or partner, unabashedly, audaciously, joyfully. Waiting, again, brings you one thing--more waiting.

I saw the Spiritual Millionaires "Act As If..." in all their creativity, being willing to try on new ideas, new connections, and revel in the sheer fun of it! I watched them step into spaces of discomfort, and reveal aspects of their lives that take courage to share, and do it with grace and style. I was touched in my heart by their example of who they are, and I knew, as I think you know, that they were as scared to take those steps as you and I are when we're faced with the choice of standing up for who we are in each moment of Self Declaration.

If there is something that you're longing for in your life, and have been waiting for the ripples of this desire to push you to be who and what you dream of being, try to "Act As If..." it's already here. It will lock your intentions into reality, and you will find opportunities open that you never would have even seen if you hadn't done so.

So "Act As If...". Make it be, for you, right now.

Try these two Spiritual Principles on today, and email me with the results. Don't wait, try it now, in the next moment, and see how it works for you.

I look forward to hearing from you on the results!
